Save the Dates
There was a picture I really wanted to use for these but it just kept looking cheesy no matter what I did so I might use them for something else. This is the design I've ended up with.
STD progress...
These were a super PIA. One thing after another went wrong. Finally got them all figured out, my mom is finishing up the calligraphy on the envelopes.
Almost ready to go out...just waiting on my return address stamp.
**Update 3/4: They went out today! Finally got my return address stamp, embossed all the envelopes, stamped them and dropped them off at the post office!

Invitations
I'm going to be creating my own invitations, STDs, etc. I've been playing around with designs. For now I've been using powerpoint until I get my new computer and my Adobe loaded onto it. It took me a while to figure out what I liked. I knew I wanted a design that had a vintage and kind of Southern touch to it. This is a very rough design, I know the wording isn't perfect, I just wanted to see if I liked the overall feel of it so far.
1/4/2010: New Invite format ^ I like this one a lot better than the first one. This will be printed in gold metallic ink for the lace and blue ink for the words. What do you think?
Here are some of my other mock ups such as reception and reply cards, again just rough mock ups trying to get the feel. For the insert cards, I have the idea of cutting along the line at the top so that it wont be a straight across line in the pocketfold but yet follow the line of the lace.
And finally...finished invites!
So glad to be done with these!
The pictures doesn't do the color justice - they're both metallic gold but they look different in pictures for some reason.
